I can’t believe July is almost over. This month was one for the books. After spending last Summer doing absolutely nothing, this was so so much fun. And we still have about a month and a half left of it!
In the beginning of the month (after getting rejected from a job, I really wanted) me and my best friend jetted off to Disney World for her birthday. We were very cautious, wearing masks when we were in big crowds and we are both vaccinated.
Let me tell you, I haven’t been to Disney since 2014 and it was just as magical this time. We were there for a week and got done mostly everything. Without waiting in line for characters, you get done a lot more rides and have a lot more time (even though the wait for the rides are long).
We got to eat at Cinderella’s Castle (which we saw the fireworks from inside of, talk about dreams come true) AND Beast’s castle. Both meals were delicious! We rode Slinky Dog Dash which was SO MUCH FUN and even woke up early to get boarding passes for Rise of the Resistance. As a non-Star Wars fan, I highly recommend.
It was truly truly magical and I am so glad my best friend made the decision to go because it was so much fun! Next time, we are definitely doing Universal Studios!
My only complaint was that it was so hot out, but that’s what we get for going in July. Then, after I came home from Disney, I had about a week to recover before my second vacation started.
I spent a week down the shore in Ocean City, NJ, with my other best friend and her family who rents a house down there. This vacation was way more relaxing and it felt good to see people who are like family to me who I haven’t seen since New Year’s 2020. (They’re all vaccinated too). Sure, I might have gotten a little sunburn and got caught in a storm at one point, but it was so much fun!
Yep. I saw that sunset for 7 days. I didn’t want to leave.
Now, all the fun is over and I am continuing to write articles. I hope you are all enjoying them and just clicking on them and reading them please and thank you.
Next month, we have some fun things coming up and then shows and concerts starting in the fall. I am SO EXCITED!!!!
Please continue to wear your masks and get vaccinated because we are starting to see a lot of hospitalizations again and more deaths, which is not good. So if you don’t want to be locked down again, do what it right!
