November felt like a week, but also a whole year at the same time.
I can’t believe the month is actually over and we are in the last month of 2022. I swear yesterday was March.
A lot happened this month, so let’s get into it.
The month started off amazing. Taylor Swift announced that she was going on tour again for the first time in five years and I literally thought of nothing but that until tickets went on sale…. but we’ll get to that in a bit.
Then, a few days later, my signed CD from Taylor arrived. I told myself that if there was a heart with the signature, it would be my first tattoo, but I escaped that one as there was no heart.
Also at the beginning of the month, we still had Red October Phever, as the Phillies played in the last few games of the World Series. We all know how that turned out.
Then, of course, I voted and Chris Evans was voted the Sexiest Man Alive, so they were two good things.
Then me and my brother FINALLY got to go back to New York City, almost a year to the day we went last year.
Our main focus was seeing the play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, but we also lucked out and got to explore the Harry Potter New York store. It was more than just buying things though. There were interactive experiences with wands, statues of characters, and a huge Butterbeer bar. I HIGHLY recommend if you are a big Potter fan like we are.

We then made our way over to the busy part of the city to see the play at the Lyric Theater. It exceeded my expectations. I had read the script book beforehand, so I knew what to expect going into it, but wow.
The visual effects were amazing. Dementors flew out from the ceiling, words were written on the wall, sparks came out of wands. And the acting was great as well.

After the play, my brother and I had dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe right down the street and then shopped a little bit in Time’s Square before barely missing our bus back home, but that’s a story for another time.

Then, November 15 came. What I thought was going to be a happy, triumphant day turned out to be a really frustrating one.
I thought, great, I had a boost from Taylor Nation, I’ll go in get my tickets, and start planning my outfits.
But nope, Instead I was 16,000 people back in line IN A PRE-SALE and by the time I got I got into the queue, it was sold out. Ok, round 2.

I got a Capital One card, just for this occasion and pre-sale, but STILL didn’t have any luck. I was 6,000 people in line and still didn’t get any tickets. Then, Ticketmaster cancelled the general sale and you’re girl is still ticketless to the ERAS TOUR, but anywaayyyyy. Me and Ticketmaster have beef.
So, I tried every giveaway, every radio entry, everything. And I am not giving up hope. I know tickets will fall into my lap. We are manifesting and praying on it.
Also, this month, my baby cousin turned one and the party was so much fun. Yes, I took chicken tenders and fries from the kid’s table, who’s going to stop me?

And some other good news. MARK BALLAS WON HIS THIRD MIRRORBALL on this season of Dancing With The Stars. Him and Charli D’Amelio were a force to be reckoned with and I am so glad, they took home the win.

Just a few days later, it was Thanksgiving. We hosted and had most of the family over. We also celebrated my pop-pop’s 87th birthday that night and were so thankful to have him here with us.
Now that Thanksgiving is over, we started decorating for Christmas and are looking forward to wrapping, and seeing friends and family, and the holidays.
If anyone wants to see a separate post on my NYC experience or the Taylor Swift ticketd debacle, please let me know!
As always, stay safe and I will talk to you all next month and NEEX YEAR OMG!
