Well, folks, it finally happened. I went out somewhere that wasn’t work or a store. This past weekend was super jammed packed. I finally got to see some of my friends that I haven’t gotten to see since before the pandemic.
On Friday night, after a long day at work, I went out to Margaritas and then went to get ice cream, with some of my friends from my old place of work. I’m glad we remained closed because they truly are family.
We talked and hung out for hours. I was exhausted, but you know, it was worth it. Anytime you get to see friends, all your other worries go away. Even in the quiet moments in the car or at the table, you just enjoy their presence.
Then on Saturday, after another stressful day at work, I ventured to my other old work friend’s party for her 21st birthday. It was a nice time at her house, meeting her family and friends, and eating some delicious buffalo chicken dip. LOL.
Then, of course, on Sunday, I had to work again, but I had the memories or a fun weekend to keep me going.
Hopefully, I will be able to schedule hang outs with my other friends soon because I desperately miss them. I haven’t seen my best friend in almost a year. That’s criminal.
On another note, it is hard to believe that there are 82 days left in this year. This has been the slowest fastest year ever.
Everyone continue to stay safe, wear your masks, spread some love, and take care of yourself.
What’s everyone being/doing for Halloween? Let me know.
